Resident Assistant (Part-Time)
Guiding Star Ministries is hiring Resident Assistants for part-time positions . Guiding Star Ministries is a residential program for homeless pregnant women and their children located in the Northwest section of Philadelphia. During their stay, mothers are assigned a social worker to manage their case and assist them with goal planning and they must pursue employment or education. Through counseling, group meetings, parenting education, life skills, and a nurturing faith-based environment, Guiding Star aims to provide moms with the tools to be self-sufficient. Current open shifts are listed below, and others are available.
Shift – Saturday/Sunday 10-4p
Shift – Thursday through Sunday 4-10p
Applicants must be able to agree to our PA Child Abuse History, PA Criminal Abuse History clearances are required. Experience caring for children and working in a social service setting is helpful, but not required. Please submit your interest and experience to mail@prolifeunion.org.
