ENDORSEMENTS

Archbishop Nelson Perez

ARCHBISHOP OF PHILADELPHIA

"I enthusiastically endorse the work of the Pro Life Union of Greater Philadelphia. For nearly 50 years, they have consistently given witness to the Gospel of Life by its life-affirming mission of prayer, education, and providing the much-needed support and financial services for women who choose to carry their pregnancies to term. Their service to the cause of life is a blessing to the Church in Philadelphia. All of us should find hope and joy that the Pro-Life Union provides a way for anyone to serve the needs of others - from the young woman who finds herself unexpectedly a mother, yet feels it necessary to consider abortion, to vulnerable disabled persons experiencing frustration and loneliness, to the elderly and all victims of indifference. I pray that Our God and Father continue to bless the work of the Pro Life Union, its constituent member organizations and all those committed to the sanctity of life."

MOST REV. CHARLES J. CHAPUT, O.F.M. CAP.

ARCHBISHOP OF PHILADELPHIA

“I wholeheartedly endorse the work of the Pro-Life Union of Greater Philadelphia. I’ve been impressed by the Pro-Life Union’s prophetic and life-affirming mission, and its witness over generations that have resulted in countless women, children, and men experiencing authentic love, respect, and care. All Christians, and indeed all people of goodwill, should rejoice that the Pro-Life Union provides a way for anyone to serve their brother and sister—from the young woman who finds herself unexpectedly a mother, yet feels it necessary to consider abortion, to vulnerable disabled persons experiencing frustration and loneliness, to the elderly and all victims of indifference. It’s my hope that the Pro-Life Union will earn the support of all those concerned about the most basic human right to life.”

BOBBY SCHINDLER, M.S. PRESIDENT

TERRI SCHIAVO LIFE & HOPE NETWORK

“We grew up in Bucks and Montgomery Counties. Our family were parishioners at Our Lady of Good Council in Southhampton. And while our family eventually moved to Florida, where my sister Terri Schiavo’s fight for life eventually became a national drama, we were first and foremost a simple Catholic family striving to live good lives. What John Stanton and so many others built into the Pro-Life Union has always been inspiring, because I think it helps people realize that good, life-affirming choices can be made by anyone. If you want to build a culture of life in the Philadelphia area, there’s no place better to start than by supporting the Pro-Life Union.”
