Since 1973, there have been approximately 60 million abortions performed in the United States. This number is staggering, and yet, there are some people across the nation who do not realize this appalling fact. The Memorial Cross Program brings attention to the reality of this statistic. A set of 60 white crosses, each cross representing one million abortions performed, placed on the lawn of a local church reminds us of the tragic loss of life, and prompts us to pray for the souls of those unborn babies and their mothers. If your church would like to display these Memorial Crosses, please call the Pro-Life Union’s office at 215-885-8150. A Pro-Life Union volunteer will set up the crosses and remove them. Each church typically displays them for one month at a time.
